From our beginning, Community Covenant Church has believed one of its primary responsibilities is to obey God’s command to fulfill the “Great Commission” (Matt. 28:19-20) by building bridges of connection with God, one another and the world. The church endeavors to accomplish this, in part, through CCC's missions program. Our missions program seeks to ensure that the church aggressively addresses the third bridge of our vision: to build a bridge between God and the world He sent His Son to redeem. CCC supports and prays for missionaries from many different sending agencies, but it especially encourages those from its own church family to consider whether God is calling them to mission service. Becoming a sending church requires a commitment to prayer. Therefore, we “ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest field” (Matt. 9:36-38).
